Lukes play date

Happy Belated Easter :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BOY!

He is 1!!! For Lukes birthday we had a small family party. My sister and her family joined us for the weekend so the boys could share their birthday together. Jack is just a few days younger than Luke and we thought it would be neat to have a joint party. Due to the move I was unable to plan a big party but what we had was just perfect and I dont think we could have fit one more person in this house.It was great to have family come help celebrate the boys big day. It was a wonderful weekend, I love being able to spend time with my sister and the boys loved playing together. On Lukes actual birthday he was really sick and I got stuck going into jury duty but luckily Chad was able to stay home with him. We did try taking him to dinner at Chilis but he was just not having it and didnt even eat the ice cream! Poor baby is still sick a week n half later. Cant believe he will be 2 next. Haha

Long time no chat :)

OK so I know I have been terrible in not keeping this blog up the last 2 months but I do have good reasoning :) We went through a big that kept me busy from taking pictures and I know it sounds like a poor excuse but my work aholic husband is always on the computer making it so I cant get on and do my blog. So with that being said...you have missed out on a lot. We have been trying to settle in to our new home as best we can, as we our still waiting for the final word if it's ours. Luke loves it here because he is able to roam around the whole place (its only a small 1 story) and I don't have to worry about darn stairs and its great for cleaning being smaller. Chad is busy as always with work, so we don't get to see him as much as we would like but happy he is at least working :) Now on to Luke... My baby is now 1, I can't believe it. Surprisingly I did not cry on his birthday but I still cant believe my baby is a year old. Oh how time flys. He is a ball of energy that never stops. He knows how to push my buttons and he loves it. A smart cookie he is but we knew that from the beginning. He is definitley a mamas boys and loves to come give me hugs and kisses. He has now learned how to blow kisses, which is pretty cute, he shares his snacks with the dog, he likes when we chase him and he LOVES his new cozy coupe car he got for his birthday. He will go sit in it close the door and grab on to the wheel like he is driving. Half of our day is spent pushing that thing around the house. Both Chad and I are absolutely loving this age and are so excited to see who this little boy is turning out to be.

Walkin Dino

Last weekend the weather was so beautiful we had to go play outside. It was Luke's first time touching grass, he wasn't sure what to make of it but enjoyed being out there. He is starting to walk very well, so he took it to the sidewalk and strutted his stuff. Luke has always loved being outside ever since he was a newborn, it use to calm him down. It will be nice this spring when we can go play more outside and take him to the park. This little boy brightens everyday for me :)
