2 for Tuesday

So we have had a little tradition going where we go to good ole Stadium Pizza for buy 1 get 1 free on Tuesdays. We dont go every week but try and do it once or twice a month. Since the weather has been bad my Mom and Tom have been down the hill to join us for the last month or two and they invite their freinds Mike and Joann and my Aunt Donna and Uncle Doug. It has been so much fun to get together with them and have some good company. We have been going to Stadium for as long as I can remember and that was actually my first job I ever had 8 years ago for about 2 years, so it's always good to go back to the memories.

Best Buds

Luke and Precious are great friends and they both love playing with each other. We get such a kick out of watching them on the floor chasing one another. Lucas does let her know when he has had enough and Precious goes into hiding when she's done with getting her hair pulled. The little things that keep us happy :)

Here comes Santa Clause, here comes Santa Clause...

Tonight Santa came around to our track, so we bundled up the little man and went to see him. He didnt cry but he really didn't smile either. Though he was definitley the cutest little one out there in his winter hat and flannel. It was his little warm up before we take him to see the real Santa at the mall ;)

Where's Dada?

We are trying to teach Lucas who everyone is but right now no matter who you say he looks at Dada. Though since we took this video last week he has learned who doggie is now and will actually look for the dog instead of Chad. Still working on mama! We have one smart little cookie on our hands :)

Lucas has learned how to clap in the last couple of days. It is just the cutest thing and he is so proud of himself for doing it. Great way to turn 8 months :)

Having some fun

Here are some random pictures I have taken the last week. Luke just loves crawling over to the plants and getting a big handfull of dirt to put in his mouth. Can't take your eye off this boy anymore.

Mirror mirror on the wall...

What can I say, he loves himself :)

Temper Tantrum

This shows Lukes temper very well. When he is mad he has no problem letting you know. Though it does look and sound sad I have learned he is just a big drama king. He pulls this stunt everynight in his crib, therefor the last 2 weeks has been complete misery at night, which ends with him either sleeping in the swing or in our bed :/

Our very own pumpkin

We dressed Luke up in his cousins costume when we were up north. I have to say that is the best pumpkin I have ever seen.

The Pumpkin Patch

We took Luke to his first ever Pumpkin Patch and our new tradition as a family. We had to go to 2 patches because the first one didn't satisfy me enough and not at all what I thought a Pumpkin Patch should be like but the second one was perfect and we picked out a great pumpkin. He was a great sport through it all ( by him, I mean Chad, lol).

First we started off by having lunch at Red Robin, which by the way is a great place to take a baby. Luke really was calm due to the loud background noise.

This was the first one we hit. Was going great until...

He started trying to eat everything.

We did however end up with a few good shots...

This one was a hit, Luke loved climbing all over the pumpkins and wearing the witch hat :) It was Chad's favorite because they had free popcorn.

Turned out to be a great family day. Can't wait for our other traditions.

Another trip up North

Luke and I hitched a ride again with Mom and Tom to go see my sis up near San Fran. We had a great time and loved seeing all 3 of the boys interact with eachother. Jack is a little stand offish but Luke and Ben had fun beating eachother up. They all did great. Ben is a little ham just like luke and Jack is the most well behaved, calm baby you would ever see. Still amazes us that we have sons only a few days apart! Lucas did pretty well being away from home but I wont be planning any more trips anytime soon ;)He was so happy to be home and went right back into his routine with no problems.

Cutie Patootie

This video was taken about 2 weeks ago but I had to share it because it is just so darn cute. He has yet to really figure out the crawling thing but is so close. He is really just wanting to stand up now and is working on that more so than the crawling. Dont worry I will get that on video next, oh and him saying mamamamama. Love this kid!

A few more random pictures

Hello Again

Happy Fall everyone... so we thought. It will be over 100 degrees here this weekend, seriously who uses the air at the end of September!? Uh I guess we do. So where do I start? I guess I will start by saying how freaking big Lucas is getting how much he is learning each day. He sits up with no problem and knows how to get himself sitting up, he is sooo close at crawling and attempts it a 100 times a day. He is always smiling, especially when Mom or Dad walks into the room. He loves playing with precious and gets the biggest kick out of her. His favorite is when Dad sings yankey doodle to him (dont know where Chad came up with that one)and throws him up in the air. He eats 7 times a day, 4 bottles, fruit in the morning, veggies for lunch and cereal for dinner. He loves to eat like his father! Oh and as of this week he is finally taking naps in the crib 2 times a day instead of the swing, yay I am so excited. He had his first visit to Disneyland last weekend when some friends invited us to go stay with them at The Grand California Hotel, an absolutely amazing place. We had a wonderful time and Lucas was such a good boy. Too bad Dad forgot to bring the camera with us so we have no shots of us in the park. The few we do have is from our hotel balcony. I dont know how many times a day both Chad and I say how perfect this little boy is and how he is the greatest thing in our lives. As I sit here and type this listening to him and Chad laughing in the next room it just puts the biggest smile on my face and makes me the happiest person. I thank God for both of my angels.I will be posting many more pictures in the next few weeks with visits with sisters and birthdays and his first Halloween :)
